My Tattoo Is Very Personal To Me, It Will Forever Monument The Time In My Life When I Stood Up For Myself, For Who I Am, For What I Believe In. One Love… Equality.. In My Case, It Represents My Battle With Sexuality.

It’s A Long Story, But Long Story Short, When I Look At Someone, I Don’t See Race, I Don’t See Gender, I Don’t See Age, I See Beyond That. I See Them For Who They Are, And How They Treat Me.

This Became A Huge Issue In My Life, Growing Up With A Homophobic Father, And Making The Decision To Tell Him About My Life, To Tell Him I’ve Been Dating A Guy (For 6 Months At That Time).

My Wings Represent My Evolution, The Evolution Of My Spirit. I Decided To Come Out To My Family And Friends, Despite All The Odds Against Me. I Risked Everything, I Stood Up For Who I Am, For What I Believe In.

I Went From That Caterpillar Stuck In That Cocoon, To That Beautiful Creature That Emerged, Grew Wings And Started A Whole New Life For Themself .

I Chose To Get The Wings In The Shape Of Angel Wings Because Of My Belief In One Love.. Unconditional Love.

This Tattoo Will Always Be A Constant Reminder Of All The Hardships, All The Risks, All The Tears, Everything I Overcame And Endured, And Also A Reminder To Myself To Never Give Up And Never Stop Believing In Myself.
