Cross Tattoo

Hey everyone so here’s my video on my second tattoo. I got a simple cross design in all black. I was going to get a quote with it as well but I really loved the simplicity of the cross by its self. It honestly didn’t hurt that bad, it was an annoying scratching and as it got closer to my bone that hurt quite a bit. Overall I’m completely satisfied with my tattoo and love it
I went to Alaska again to get my second tattoo. I got my first one touched up the same day as this tattoo as well as a new piercing haha You can imagine my relief at the end of the day.

My tattoo was done at AK Ink by Chris.

WHY A CROSS?
I’m a christian girl, and I believe in God. This is my body and i choose what i want to do with it. My tattoos have extreme importance in my life. Also… i love tattoos

Tattooing Last of the KALINGA tattooist Part 1

Me and a few of the tribe members of TATAK NG APAT NA ALON TRIBE. along with WHANG-OD the last of the tattooist of the kalinga or in general of northern luzon that practices the old way.. it was really a great honor because we were there at the diddiga festival with LARS who also is a friend of ours and did the show TATTOO HUNTER on discovery channel with WHANG-OD. and so it was a great honor for me for her to ask me to tattoo her when she is the LAST tattooist in the region and the master, like a master passing the blessing onto an apprentice…. so it was so great..

and she took it like a CHAMP!!! and was not moving at all… and the tool i was using was a bamboo and from Benguet by the the ibaloi tribe the bottom part of it is shaped like a SNAKE’s head and the mouth of the snake is where the needles go.. so the HSSS!! of the snake is when you get blessing or tattoo of the warrior symbols of our fallin ancestors.. (of course if any one wanted to know it is not recycled the TOOL it is brand new always and made again and again i replicated the shape so that the symblism can still be powerful when someone is getting tattooed)
