I am getting a tattoo for christmas from my wife. I want angel wings on my back. Big ones that pretty much cover my back not just the upper middle like alot of people like to get. And then a tattoo of a big ass spine on my spine . I just want a second opionion from them tattoo lovers out there. thanks.
And i am not worried about how i look when i am 40 i am nineteen right now and i am going to get my back done i thought that this would be pretty bad ass. i want something that isn’t gang related and that alot of people dont have thats why i threw the spine in there too
and it dont have to be angel wings i am talking about big ass wings in general.
Imagine going to the community pool and seeing a 70 year old man hobbling on his cane to walk over to the steps to get into the pool. Then you see the old guy has his spine showing and wrinkly wings…
if you’re not completly sure of what you want at this stage don’t get it!!!
a tattoo should be something you want, not what people on the internet tell you.

It has to do with both the talent of the tattoo artist and the shape of your back. If you are muscular and fit it could look cool. But would look odd if you were just flabby or even overweight. Plus large tattoos tend to look awful once your skin starts sagging in your mid-40s – something to think about since I don’t know how old you are.

Get something more manly? Like a gigantic dragon.
If I ever got a back tattoo i’de get a giant pirate ship, with a skeletal crew all drunk and killing eachother and drinking rum with a dark stormy sky in the background and a moon. YO HO!!!!!! (but I like pirates
